Solar Panels for Merida, Leyte

While Agathon, first typhoon for 2014, was lurking around Leyte on the last week of January, Project Enkindle together with my group The Kindred Nomad Project was able to successfully install 3 solar panel sytems in Brgy. Benabaye and Brgy. Kinayaban in Merida, Leyte.

Big thanks to our field volunteers – Meiling Lee, Daphne Dale Domingo and Jenna Pollock whose efforts didn’t stop in simply installing the systems but they were more than willing to immerse with the locals who survived the super typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. I am so proud of you, team!

Thanks a lot to my very dear friend Jerome Matugas and family who lets me set up my HQ in their own backyard.

Mad props to the people behind Project Enkindle: Dann Diez, Michael Abundo and Imee Saladaga.
